Although he was extremely strick when I was growing up, now, as an adult, I understand a bit more, that his 'rules' really were in my best interest. Ok, most of his rules were in my best interest! :-) Gotta tell ya' though, he turned out to be one cool, Daddy-O! AND tomorrow is his 76th birthday. Soooo happy birthday, too, Dad!

This is just fantastic! I love the colors and the texture. Great work and I know just what you mean about the strict rules growing up and how cool fathers get when one is an adult!

Another great LO, Barb! I think you did a wonderful job with this one. The texture, the colors, and the over-all look are perfect with this pic of your dad. (And I hear ya on the 'strict' part...my parents were pretty strict when I was growing up too. But as I got older and had kids of my own, I really appreciated the way they raised me, just as you do -- things sure change when one goes from kid to adult, don't they?!)
