Boom-di-Ada Birthday

I looked at the Boom-Di-Ada paper pack for many months before I finally decided to purchase it. I was not too keen on the color combos and it just didn't 'grab' me when I first saw it. But, when I was visiting Maricar's blog, she had the cutest goodies made with the Boom-Di-Ada papers and I was sold! So here is a criss cross card using once again, the no waste method, I learned on Kim's blog. If you visit there, just look for the tutorials on the left sidebar for the criss cross card. I love that little scalloped piece I cut from one of the main papers. It looks a lot like that Threading Water border punch from Fiskars.

Supplies-All items CTMH. Cardstock:Colonial White. Papers:Boom-di-Ada paper pack. Stamps:Playful Flourishes. Thoughtful Scripts. Ink:Garden Green. Ribbon:Anna Griffin.

I am glad you stopped by today. I hope you're having a fantastic Sunday!

This is gorgeous, Barb! Do you mind if I use this on From Your Side of the Table some time? I really like this paper packet, because of the orange...wink! I am glad you purchased it, so I can see what you create.

Excellent card, Barb! Love the insert...looks like it has some dimension. I also followed Kim's tutorial on making the no waste criss cross card...she does great work, doesn't she?

The student mastered the technique!

Ooooh!! I LOVE pocket cards! I haven't seen this paper in person, but I'm loving what I've seen others do with it...your pocket card here among my favorites. I'm sure your friend loved receiving this lovely card.
