Marjorie's Color Challenge #30

Marjorie's colors for this week are Cranberry, Bamboo, Grey Wool and Black. Here is what I came up with. Since it's back to school time, I thought I would make little envelope cards to give the girls a bit of spending money for school supplies, etc. I got the idea for the card from Dawn. If you've not been to her blog, you really need to visit. She has a lot of tutorials for some very cute items.

The card was really quick and easy to make. It fits into a standard sized envelope and the finished size is 5 1/2 X 3 1/4.

This is an inside view. I used a regular brown lunch bag, trying to stay in the 'Bamboo' tones. You really could slip anything inside here, a gift card, cash, a gift certificate. I think I am going to make a little stack of these using Christmas papers to present gift cards to my nieces and nephews.

Supplies-All CTMH. Cardstock:Black, Bamboo, Cranberry, Colonial White. Papers:Silhouette. Stamp:All My Love. Ink:Cranberry. Other: Scor-Pal, Scallop Punch (EK Success), Border Punch (Martha Stewart).

I made one with the Boom-Di-Ada papers, too for my other daughter. The scalloped edge is cut from one of the papers in the B-D-A paper pack. I love that sheet of paper. There are so many things you can do with it.

I used an orange bag for this one. There are some really cute bag colors out there. I bought mine from Wal-Mart, but you can probably pick them up anywhere.

Supplies-All CTMH. Cardstock:Olive,Hollyhock,Colonial White. Paper:Boom-Di-Ada. Stamp:All My Love. Ink:Hollyhock. Corner Rounder.Other:Scallop Punch(EK Success). Orange bag(Hallmark).

Thanks for visiting with me today. Blessings to you~
