You're Sweet

I've been busy making Valentine's Day cards! Several weeks ago, I visited my friend at her scrapbook store and picked up ONE 12 x 12 sheet of this paper. I just thought it was so pretty! I'm seeing it all over the internet now, fashioned into wonderful Valentine's cards and I was so inspired I actually CUT into all that deliciousness to make a card to share with you. I plan to go to her shop today and I just hope she still has some. I really wanted to add glitter to this and I did. But you won't see that card. The glittering process turned the cranberry ink a hideous orange that completely clashed with the papers. So I went without sparkle. Now that I'm thinking about it, I could have used my Spica At You glitter pens. Oh well, next time. On to the card...I've got a few things going on here. I made my card base with the pink cs, that I scored with the ScorPal then I embossed the cs with my 'bug'. I cut and embossed the dp with my square nesties. The heart images are two step stamped. And the whole lot is up on foam tape. The inside is decorated, too. More of the same paper, cut with a scalloped edge punch. I randomly stamped the bitty hearts and added a sentiment. Pretty. Easy.
