Tooth Extraction Day

I've gotten a few e-mails requesting that I post some of the layouts from my daughter's braces album. Okay! I've posted two here from the beginning of our journey...December 2006, it was tooth extraction day. Keep in mind, I was still learning the basics of digital scrapping back then, and I think my layout reflects that.

Patricia's favorite colors are pink and brown, so I chose that color palette for her album. My friend Starla really dislikes that I altered the photos in this layout. But I felt I needed to because Patricia is wearing a red and blue jacket and those colors clashed with the kit.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you are having a great weekend. Until next time....

Blessings~

Thanks for sharing this, Barb! You started out doing a great job on your digi scrapping! I do like the softness of the focal photo and that hint of a smile on the second page.

I'm always impressed by your attention to detail!

Barb, this two page layout is great. I think you were never a beginning in digi scrapping. This layout is great. It kept thinking this can't be digi. You are an awesome scrapper.

Love the pics and all the details.

Your layout turned out great! I hated getting mine out. I had to get 4 taken out.

Your LOs are very pretty, Barb! I love that color combo too and can totally see why you opted to alter the colors in the pics so as not to clash. And I love that you thought to capture these events for future scrapbook pages.
