I've been trying to get to this since Sunday...another Christmas card for my 2010 stash. I am really enjoying participating in Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge! I love Christmas and being able to make cards all year makes me smile. I must confess, I've still got 3 Christmas trees up in my house. And I think I'll leave the one in my studio up, because when I'm working on my cards, I like to turn on the lights and have Christmas music playing. I've done just what Sparkle suggested, I make two of each card, that way my stash will grow really quickly.
For this week's challenge we were to use this photo for inspiration.
We could use the colors, the ribbon, the ornaments, the glitter, etc. I chose to go with the colors and the glitter...
Tis a simple card for sure and one that can be easily mass produced. My color palette is Tulip, Sorbet, Creme Brulee and Colonial White all from CTMH. I also used papers from CTMH's Aspen paper pack. The stamp set is PTI, called Believe. I embossed the tree using Gold Filigree EP also from PTI. That delicious creme and gold ribbon is from Gina K. Designs.
Thanks so much for visiting! I truly appreciate it.
Blessings~

Barb, this is a great card! I have fallen behind on these challenges and need to get back into the groove. TFS and the inspiration to get mine done.

That's gorgeous and well worth the effort you had to put in to bring it to the CHristmas spirits!
