Bookmarks Galore!

We are still attempting to get back to life as usual. Daddy's memorial service is planned and it will take place in early June. We have a lot of family members that had to make travel arrangements, so we had to allow plenty of time for that. Thank you so much for your kind comments and encouragement. You will never know how much your words touched my heart. And, as someone once told me...Life goes on. *big sigh*

Today, I am sharing the bookmarks I made for my Mum to give to her Bible study group. She is earning her PhD in Theology. Mum is the ultimate student, having received two Bachelors degrees, two Masters degrees and a Teaching Credential in her short 70 something years. I'm so proud of her. So when she asked if I could make something for her study group, I said, "Sure!" I thought bookmarks would be a perfect choice and of course I had to add a Bible verse. I wanted to keep them flat, so I opted to leave off any ribbon or bulky embellishments.

I used three different stamp sets on these. And I really like how they turned out. They were very fast and easy to make, I put them together assembly line style. Of course they received a blast of shimmer spray! I just LOVE that sparkle and shine!!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I appreciate the visit. I've missed my blogging friends!   Roll

Blessings~

Your bookmarks are beautiful, Barb. Perfect for your Mum to present to her study group friends. She sounds like an amazing woman.

Life as usual will eventually come. Give yourself time. It takes a while.

Barb, I'm so happy to see you posting. The bookmarks are terrific. Your mother is amazing! I'll bet you get a lot of your strength from her as you are an amazing woman, too.

Please know that I think of you often and continue to wish you comfort and peace as you journey through this time.

Beautiful bookmarks. I'm so very sorry about your dad. There is nothing like losing a parent - I've found it to be one of the most difficult parts of life...
