Lollipop Crafts Challenge 29

Good Monday Morning! Today, I have the honor of playing along with my first Challenge on the Lollipop Crafts blog. Once, you’re finished here, scoot on over to the blog and take a look-see at all the goings on over there! It’s a really fun place, where all types of crafts are featured, not just cards! So go have a look! But before you do…

I used the February sketch from SFYTT for my card.

The Challenge this week was to use any animal on a project and I used Sick Little Bear from Meljens Designs. I love working with digital images because I can make them whatever size I need. Let me just say that the images I received from Meljens are SUPER cute! The little critters have so much personality and their faces are just adorable! I printed this little guy onto White Daisy card stock and colored him with Copic markers. I cut and embossed the focal image with a Circle Nestie, then sponged on Cantaloupe Memento ink, while the focal panel was still in the die. I adhered the image with foam tape. I stamped my sentiment right onto the patterned paper and added those sweet little red heart brads. A bright green bow topped with a Lemon Tart button was the finishing touch.

Materials Used:

Digital Image: Sick Little Bear by Meljens Designs
Cardstock: Sweet Leaf, Buttercup, White Daisy (CTMH)
Paper: Sugar Rush Collection (BasicGrey)
Ink: Black (CTMH) Cantaloupe (Memento)
Accessories: Copic Markers, Sakura glaze pen , Sakura glitter pen, Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders) , Lemon Tart Button (PTI) , Bow Easy, heart brads, green ribbon, foam tape (3M)

Thank you so much for dropping by today. Have a fantastic Monday!

Blessings~
