Lollipop Crafts Challenge 31

Hi everybody! It’s time for another Challenge from Lollipop Crafts. This week the digital image is from our sponsor, Just Some Lines. These images are darling and so fun to work with. I decided to use Emo Paula and I think she is adorable! The challenge is to create a non-square/non-rectangle card.

I printed Emo Paula onto White Daisy card stock and colored her with Copic markers. I decided to paper piece her dress. She looked like she needed a little floral dress so that is what I gave her. I colored some of the flowers with a Copic marker and added some tiny twinkles to the centers. I used a bit of green Flower Soft for the grass, then sponged on some New Sprout and Summer Sky ink to create a nice ground and sky effect. I’ve been in a butterfly mood lately, so I added on a few of those too. The focal image was mounted on foam tape.

For the card base, I used a Scalloped Oval Nestie. I created a “hinge” on the back piece so the card could be opened without disturbing the top piece.

Here's a close up for you. I really LOVE those tiny twinkles! Her little dress is sooo sparkly!

This is my last week of projects for my Guest Designer spot at Lollipop Crafts blog. I have really enjoyed working with a lot of adorable digital images and I am so thankful that I was given the opportunity! Please scroll thru my previous posts to see what you’ve missed and be sure to visit the links that I’ve shared. There are a lot of great digital images available and they are SO affordable Many of the Designers offer FREEBIES or Try Before You Buy images, this way you can give them a try without any worries. If you don’t know how to use digital images, many of the stores have tutorials for you to view…that’s how I learned to use them and now I am hooked!! If you have any questions, please e-mail me.

Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great Monday and I’ll see you back here in a day or two.

Until then…
Blessings~
