Happy Fall

Happy October! This is the most wonderful time of the year for me! I am energized by the cooler temps and I truly hope I am able to get in a lot of creating time in my studio. I am such an Autumn person! In keeping with the Fall theme, I have a card to share today. Happy Fall!

Isn't that jar the cutest thing? This is an older set from Papertrey Ink, but it's new to me, and I just love it! I am so pleased that PTI has created dies for some of their sets. This is Friendship Jar and Friendship Jar Fall Fillers, such fun sets! I colored the image with Copics. I have to say, I've been collecting Copic markers for a while now and I have learned that it is really not necessary to have ALL of them. If you want to get started with Copics, but shied away because of the cost, re-think it. All you really need is 3 shades in each color family...3 reds, 3 blues, 3 greens, etc. Then you can fill in and add as you see fit.

I always finish the inside of my cards, but I don't always show it. This inside is finished very simply.

Supplies: stamps: Friendship Jar, Friendship Jar Fall Fillers from Papertrey Ink
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Soft Suede from Stampin' Up!
paper: Autumn Terracotta Gingham from Close to My Heart
cardstock: Chocolate Chip(SU!) Vintage Cream(PTI)  Autumn Terracotta textured (CTMH)
accessories: button(Basic Grey), twine(PTI),  jar die(PTI),  Copic markers

I really appreciate you stopping by today!

Fabulous fall card, Barb! I like how you used the gingham on the jar top and the background. Really love all the details and how you decorate the inside of your cards, too.

Thanks for the tip about Copics.

Have a wonderful day, my sweet friend!
