New Beginnings...

Hello Friends! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Holiday season. Let's get this party started with a Thursday Challenge from Meljen's Designs. The challenge for this week is

"NEW BEGINNINGS"

Create a card or project featuring something 'new'; New Year, New Baby, New Home, New Day... Play along with us and you could win some fabulous FREE digis!  I chose the fun-loving, pre-colored Party Time Cat image to share with you today.

I just love the pre-colored images because they allow me to whip up cards quickly. This image is good for birthdays, too. I printed him on Epson Presentation Paper, a few times. I fussy cut the balloons and adhered them with dimensional tape. He gets his sparkle from a glitter pen. I created a teensy bit of shadow under him with a Copic marker. I used a border punch on the patterned paper to add texture and interest. Then  I added a 'happy new year!' greeting, which I cut into a fish tale, and that finished my card. The hardest part of creating this card was choosing the paper! Give those pre-colored images a try! You will LOVE them!
