Santa Baby!

Hello Friends! Shhhh! I know I'm supposed to be on a 'creative' vacation, but I colored up this Santa Baby Diva and just had to pop on to share her with all of you.

Isn't she cute! I love her so much! She was a special request from me and she's everything I envisioned and more! She's printed on my favorite card stock and colored with Copic markers. I die cut the image with the super fun Journaling die from Lawn Fawn. After coloring, I went about adding lots of little details. I added Sparkly Fluff to the fur areas, colored her ribbon sash with a gold Wink of Stella glitter brush, added red Stickles to all of the berries, gave her a dimensional pearl necklace and jewels around her wrist. I kept the layout of  the card simple, because I wanted the focus on the image. Just a side note: I love the effect the Sparkly Fluff gives, it was however, just hateful to work with! It attaches to most anything and I had a devil of a time removing it from my hands, my wood blinds, my work surface and my clothes! I must have done something wrong.

Anyway, I finished off the inside.

I used the same Journaling die and some of the same patterned paper from the outside to tie everything together I added a heart coated with red Stickles to finish it off. I've noticed that my cards are requiring more postage, because I usually do a lot of matting with card stock. Going into 2014, I will be making a few design changes. The inside of this card is a sneak peek of what's to come. :)
