Hello Friends! I have
a birthday card to share with you today. January is the perfect month to start replenishing the birthday card stash.
I decided to create another CAS card. The card stock I used
for the base is not only textured, it also has a bit of a sparkle to it. I
picked that up at Michael’s and it’s by Bazzill. I really like it! It’s
the perfect backdrop for a clean and simple card.
After stamping and punching out the cupcake, I adhered it to
the circle with dimensional adhesive. Then I added rhinestones and a glittered
cherry. This is a fun stamp set to play with and it makes it easy to create
cute cards in a flash.
That’s all from me today. It has been very warm in my neck
of the woods for this time of year. I have been enjoying cooking our meals
outside. Our new home has an outdoor kitchen and I am LOVING it! I hope you are
having a wonderful weekend!
Blessings~

Oh gosh, Barb. I love this card!! What a terrific design. CAS, yes, but you know how to dress it up to look fabulous! I might have to check out that Bazzil cardstock next time I am at Michaels. I like the idea of a little sparkle. How fun that you got to make use of your outdoor kitchen. I'm sure the food was extra delicious!
ReplyDeleteI love your cupcake cards, Barb! This one is another stunner. I can only imagine how it's even prettier in person. I plan to look for that sparkly paper also:) How cool it is that you have an outdoor kitchen! It's so cold where I am...
