Easter Blessings

Hello Friends! I think it's time I shared a few Easter/Resurrection Day cards with you. So let the Easter Parade begin...

I love daffodils and this image from Stampin' Up! is just beautiful.

I stamped the image onto cream card stock, die cut it, then colored it with Copics. Then, I created a mask of the daffodils, so I could cover them and brush on Distress inks. I like that little touch of blue, it really makes the flowers pop. After coloring, I added my signature sparkle with a Wink of Stella glitter brush.

And here is a look at the inside...

I finished off the inside by using the same Nestie and patterned paper as I did on the outside. I stamped the floral image off a few times so it would be light enough to write over. And that's all there was to it!

***I am entering this card into the Happy Easter and/or Sweet Treats challenge on the Simon Says Stamp blog.***

I hope your week has been good so far. Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate the visit.

Blessings~

Barb, the blue around your beautifully colored daffodil really makes the image stand out. Your DPs are very complementary. And the inside is just lovely - the light image and sentiment are perfect.
