Hello Friends! I've been mulling over the idea of subscribing to one of the monthly card kits I've been seeing all over the Internet. I did a little research and I finally decided that I would join the group at Simon Says Stamp. I will still purchase the StampTV kits from GinaK Designs, because I love those too. But, the SSS kits arrive monthly and that's what I wanted. In addition, just like the StampTV kits, the SSS kit is LOADED with goodies. I received my first kit on Monday and I am over the moon about it. Take a look at all the goodness!
This kit is all about boys. I have a few nephews and I'm always at a loss for what to create for them...no more! In addition to a really fun stamp set, there's a mini Distress Ink pad with the new mini ink blending tool. LOVE that. And then there's a cool stencil and lots of patterned paper and card stock. It's a great kit and I couldn't wait to dig in and make a card. So that's what I did...
Nice and clean and simple...perfect for a boy. I bet you're wondering if I added my 'signature sparkle' to this card. And the answer is...you bet I did! I left the shoe strings white and went over them with a clear Wink of Stella glitter marker. :)
That's all I have for today. Now it's time for me to do my homework for the watercolor class.
Blessings~
