Hello Friends, Happy Tuesday! The request was for "just a birthday card". Ok...this is what I came up with...
I used the Sketchy Birthday stamp set and birthday icon patterned papers from Stampin' Up for this one. I really like that paper, it's just perfect for birthday cards. I pulled my color inspiration from the papers and colored the image with ink pads and a Dove Blender pen.
I added lots of glitter and sparkle, too. I used Rock Candy Distress glitter on the frosting and Martha Stewart glitter on the candle flame. I die cut the stars using the Stitched Journaling Card die set from Lawn Fawn and I coated each star with Glossy Accents. I used a circle Nestabilities die to die cut the focal image and I dusted it with Broken China Distress ink while it was still in the die. I matted it with a scallop die cut piece, then adhered it with dimensional tape. The 'CELEBRATE' greeting has been die cut as well and also adhered with dimensional adhesive. A few Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, finished off the outside of the card.
And here is a look at how I finished the inside...
I used several different stamp sets to create the inside of the card. Again, I pulled color inspiration from the patterned papers and just stamped away! The top greeting, which I LOVE is from Avery Elle, the scripty 'happy birthday' is from Simon Says Stamp.
Mission accomplished. I created just a birthday card! That's all I have to share today. Thanks for stopping by! Make it a great day.
Blessings~
