Sending You a Latte Thanks!

Hello Friends! I was able to dig into my October Simon Says Stamp kit. I love it! It's coffee themed and loaded with all sorts of coffee goodness. Let's jump right into the card...

All items used are from the kit, with the exception of the embossing powder. Don't you love that patterned paper?! I created a card, using the sweet little Coffee Cup die. I die cut several pieces of brown card stock and glued them all together, with the final piece being a cup die cut from one of the papers from the kit. The heart in the center cuts separately (brilliant!) and that made easy work of having an inset heart using the same patterned paper that I used for the bottom border. The die also cuts a thin strip at the top of the cup so it can be "filled" with the beverage of your choice. So cute! Of course, I filled it with brown card stock. :)  I stamped the greeting and embossed it. Then, I stamped the 'steam' with Khaki ink and added on a few Mocha sequins.

Stacking all of the die cuts creates dimension and gives the piece the look and feel of chipboard. The sequins are by Simon Says Stamp and they are very pretty in real life. They are the perfect finishing touch for my card.

Well now, let's take a look at the kit! I'm not sure if the kits are still available, but the individual items may be in stock.

As usual, it's loaded with yummy goodness! We got another SSS ink pad, this time in Khaki. And there's that cute little cup die I used for today's card. The kit included lots of Prima Coffee Break wood embellishments and I just love the Basic Grey patterned papers we received. I think the paper pad is called Grand Bazzar. Honestly, it's nothing that I would purchase just seeing it online. But when I opened the box and saw it, I was very pleased. And of course, the stamp set designed by Kristina Werner is adorable; there are smiling faces to stamp onto the mug! And there are a few punny sentiments like; You Mocha Me Crazy and Java a Great Day. Cute! Cute! Cute!

So that's all I have to share today. I hope you have a wonderful week. Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings~
