Day 10 - 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hello Friends! It's late Friday evening as I'm typing this. It's been a long, hot day, but I wanted to share what I colored eariler.  I knew I was going to have a busy day, so I planned to do some simple Copic coloring.

The cast of characters for today is rather small. A digital image and Copic markers.

I have had this image in my files for many years. She's called Heidi and the artist is Victoria Case. Anyway, I printed the image onto Cryogen White card stock and went at it with my Copics.

I didn't do a lot of shading, I just colored. I decided to color her up for St. Patrick's Day.

I snapped this shot before I added color to her hair and "foam" to the beer, just in case I botched it up, I would still have something to show for today. I am no expert with Copics. I just color. And hair is not my thing. At. All. I will practice and get better, but for now, here is my finished colored piece...

She's a hottie for sure! LoL! I have a few other digi stamps like this and they were called Bombshells or Pin Ups, something like that. As I stated, I've had this for years. So, here you can see the hair and foam. They didn't turn out too badly. I like the look of individual hair strands that I've seen some Copic artists doing. I need more practice with that. The foam on the beer is made with Liquid Applique.

What the camera doesn't show is the sparkle and bling. I added Clear Wink of Stella to her eyelids, hair tie, necklace and ribbons. She has Glossy Accents on her lips. And I sprinkled clear glitter onto the Liquid Applique before I heated it up. Looking at it now, I want to add some Glossy Accents to the beer mugs, too. I think this little lady just might be made into a St. Patrick's Day card for one of my guy friends. Ha!

That's it for me. I'm beat! I've got quite a busy weekend planned. I am not sure that I will be able to squeeze in any coloring and blogging time, but I sure am going to try!

Have a great weekend everybody!

Blessings~

Va va va voom! Isn't that what they used to say for gals like this? I think she looks pretty festive and ready for the upcoming holiday. I'm so impressed that as busy as you are, you are getting your images colored and having fun. Hope you have a good weekend! Hugs!
