Cards for Kids - You're So Cool

Hello Friends! Happy Friday! I've got another fun card share for you today. I used a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called, Ice Cream Dream. Take a look...

This was a quick and easy card to make. I stamped the popsicles onto watercolor card stock and embossed them with white embossing powder. Then, I watercolored them with my Ziggies. I let them air dry and then I fussy cut them out. I adhered them onto the card base with foam tape. I added a little Crystal Effects to each popsicle. I stamped on a greeting and my card was done.

I made a total of 15 cards for my client. I had a blast doing it and I will definitely be creating more cards for kids along the way.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Blessings~

Fantastic card, Barb! What a bright, fun and colorful card! The colors in the popsicles work fabulously with the paper you chose. I adore how you colored them and the layer of Crystal Effects is very clever. You've really done a terrific job on all the kid cards you've shared, Barb. I'll bet your client was absolutely thrilled! :)

And I love your choice of patterned paper --pure popsicle perfection! I'm sure your client will love them and be the envy of all her friends because "her" cards are always the cutest...er, sweetest...er, coolest.... ;)
