30 Day Coloring Challenge 3 - Day Seven

Hello Friends! We are midway thru the week already! Does it seem like time is flying by in nano seconds these days? Sheesh! It's October already. OCTOBER! Only two more months left in this year and yet, it seems like it only began.

I decided to go clean and simple with my card today. No layers, not a lot of hoopla. I just sat down in my studio, turned on some music and enjoyed my time watercoloring. I used the sweet pumpkin from the Harvest of Wishes mini stamp set from GinaK. Designs. The greeting is from one of the stamp sets that I received from Jennifer McGuire. Read about that HERE.

I love this pumpkin. It's sketchy and plump and so fun to color. I used a combination of Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and Distress Markers. I am so pleased with the way those two mediums play together!

I stamped and heat embossed the image. Then watercolored it. After it was dry, I went over it with a  Clear Wink of Stella glitter brush. I stamped the greeting and mounted the panel onto the card base with foam tape. And that's all there was to it!

Thanks for dropping in today. I appreciate the visit.

Blessings~

Beautiful work! So happy for you that Jennifer selected you. What a sweet image. Perfect for fall. You have colored it wonderfully with your ziggies and distress markers. Of course I adore the sparkle, too! You sure do make beautiful cards, Barb. :) Hugs!

Another beautiful card, Barb! Of course fall is my favorite season and fall colors tend to be the ones I gravitate towards...except I do love pastels too...and neutrals...lol --so it's no wonder I like this. Plus it's sparkly. ;) I like the simplicity of it --your pumpkin is beautifully colored and the stamped sentiment actually looks like it could have been handwritten.
