Power Poppy ~ Seeds of Today

Hello Friends! Happy Sunday! I've got a new Power Poppy digi to share with you, it's super cute and really special, so let's get right to it.

This sweet set is called Seeds of Today...

I am in love with this one, too! That trailing vine of daisy buds and the single bloom, just make me smile. I like that Marcy gave us the option of using the sentiment or not. The quote is perfect for graduation cards, so that is what I chose to create and share with you. Please click on the photos to enlarge them.

I printed my image onto smooth white card stock and colored it with  Polychromos colored pencils. I mounted the focal onto the card base with dimensional adhesive. I added the twine bow and a bitty button for added interest. Then, I went over the flower pot and the bloom with a Clear Wink of Stella glitter brush.

For the inside of the card, I used the sentiment included in the set. I also created a tiny pocket to hold either a gift card or money.

And that was that! I kept everything super simple, so it would be easy to reproduce multiples. Now it's time to buzz on over to the Power Poppy blog to see what my teammates have created to share with you.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a spectacular Sunday!

Blessings~

Barb, what a beautiful and sweet card with the great color combination you've used. I love the simple layout with the button and twine, and what a sweet idea to use the sentiment inside with the gift card that we know all graduates appreciate! Beautifully done! Big hugs, sweet friend!

This looks amazing, Barb! I so enjoy your coloring skills. You've chosen some great colors to feature on this graduation card. I like that little bitty button and bow. You always dress up the inside of your card, something I always forget to do, but your cards look so "complete" because you add that extra touch. Thanks so much for sharing! Excellent work on a beautiful image. :) Hugs!
