Hello Friends! It's FINALLY December! Can you feel the excitement in the air? Are YOU excited? Do you have the "Christmas Spirit" yet? LoL! I stay in the Christmas spirit, it's just amplified this time of year. Anywhooo...It's the 5th of the month (already!) and that means that Marcella has a new digi stamp for us.
Introducing...Stand Here. This is a really cute set featuring a bouquet of mistletoe. Just the perfect thing to get some Christmas kisses! That ribbon is everything! And I love having the open letter font...makes for some great color blending.
I printed the image onto smooth white card stock and die cut it with my Brother ScanNCut2. Then, I colored it with Polychromos colored pencils and Copic markers. I added Spectrum Clear Sparkle on the ribbon and the berries. Then, I put a dab of Crystal Effects on the berries to give them shine and a bit of dimension. I adhered the mistletoe to my card base with foam tape.
And I finished the inside, as well.
I lightened the main image, re-colored the sentiment and added it right over the top of the mistletoe. I added a strip of the same patterned paper from the front of the card and matted it with the same red paper, too. I opted for not coloring in the letters here since I printed them with red ink. Fun, fun set to work with.
That's it for me today. Please make sure you visit the Power Poppy blog to see what my team mates have to share with you.
Thanks for dropping in! Merry Christmas!

What a sweet image that is colored wonderfully! Gets you right into the spirit! I'm so happy you are feeling up to coloring! Yay! You've got some lovely blends going on and I adore the sparke. I really like how you inked up the background for interest and the pattern paper you used. Of course, you dressed up the inside wonderfully, too. I have got to remember to change the ink color and do that when I use a digi! It looks fabulous. That ScannCut2 machine works really well it looks like! Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for the lovely inspiration. Hugs! :)
Oh, sweet Barb, what a beautiful card, and I LOVE the DP you've used! I want to visit your stamp store with you...you always have the sweetest papers! Truly, this is gorgeous, and I love how you've cut out the mistletoe and really love the bow too! It's the sweetest! Beautifully done with how you've popped up the mistletoe over the oval! Stunning card, sweet friend, and it's wonderful that you were able to enjoy coloring this beauty! Hugs and continued prayers! xoxo
