Hello, Friends! By now you know I love Autumn but, did you know that October is my favorite month? October is pumpkins, colorful leaves, cool nights, beautiful sunsets, sweet apples, warm cider and pumpkin spice EVERYTHING!
Well, I happened upon a really cute digi set called Coffee Please from Verve Stamps. It's the perfect set for a coffee/tea/pumpkin/autumn/fall leaves lovin' gal, like me. I couldn't help myself it's so loaded with pumpkin-y goodness, I had to buy it and make some cards!
What's really cool about digi's is their versatility! The images can be resized, recolored and flipped any which way you want. Take a look at what I did here...please click on the images to enlarge them.
I printed the images onto Papertrey Ink's Rustic Cream card stock. This is my favorite card stock for Autumn cards because it has a real homespun feel, with all of the various flecks of color that are printed right into it. The camera doesn't do it justice. The paper is gorgeous, I've been using it for years and I pull it out each Autumn. Anywho...I recolored the sentiments to suit my needs and colored the images with Prismacolor colored pencils.
I love a touch of blue with the orange. I added a little Crystal Effects and Clear Stardust pen to the pumpkin because pumpkins MUST have sparkle! And a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins finished this card off.
I kept everything orange for this card. The beverage inside the cup has a bit of Crystal Effects on it to give it a wet look. The pumpkins have been enhanced with a Clear Stardust pen. And, I grabbed my Lawn Fawn Best Pun Ever stamp set and stamped out the steam. And finally, I added a few more PPP sequins to finish things off.
Cute set, right?! If you're not a fan of digi stamps, Verve does have a similar set in their clear stamp line.

That digi set is darling, Barb and so are your cards. Your colors and designs are delightful. I really like the look of your card stock and patterned paper. I love Fall also.
Ooohhhh, even though I'm not much into coffee or hot tea, I do like me some hot chocolate from time to time...(and I have friends who like those hot beverages) this set just might have to be added to my stash(he, he).
