Power Poppy ~ Poinsettia and Pomegranates

Hello, Friends! Happy October! It's the 5th of the month and that means that I have a newly remixed digi to share with you. It's called Poinsettia and Pomegranates .

Here are Marcella's thoughts on this beauty...

"An instant classic for Power Poppy, this showy holiday image is finally available as a digital stamp — ready for you to resize, flip, flop, or edit to fit any project you've dreamt up. Elegant Poinsettia leaves burst from a whorl of pine needles and sprays of baby pomegranates. Whether you take it on at full speed with punchy reds, inject it with pinks and oranges, go for chartreuse and white, or a subtly shimmering metallics, this image is pretty much an instant knockout. Comes with a lighter version for no-line coloring, plus two new sentiments that are not available in the clear stamp version."

I decided to just simply let this image be the star of the show. I printed it onto smooth white card stock and colored it with Prismacolor colored pencils.

I added gold Wink of Stella to the center of the poinsettia. I like use sequins to accent the greeting, so I sprinkled on a few for a bit of extra sparkle.

That's it for me today! Please visit the Power Poppy blog to see what my team mates have created with this gorgeous set.

Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate the visit.

Blessings~

I just stamped this image as I have the clear stamp set. Now, I have the decision of what color to use. This one is outstanding, but I love the red too. Guess I will need to do both.

Barb, this is simply gorgeous. I loved it when I saw it on Instagram, but that doesn't show its true glory. You have to be able to look at it close up to fully embrace the beauty. Wow! It's a beautiful image to start with, but you really brought it to life with your coloring. Wonderful work! Hugs!! :)
