Friday Fun with Power Poppy ~ Forest Fellas

Hello, Friends! It's been a while! I hope you all are safe and well. Today's Friday Fun feature is the Forest Fellas clear stamp set. I adore this set for many reasons but here's something interesting; Each of the critters in this set resembles a member of my household. No joke. I don't know how Marcella did it but, it's really funny!

The Bear and Owl...my son-in-love and my youngest daughter:)

The Fox and the Owl...my daughters:)

 And finally, the Moose...My Hubs:)

This just cracks me up! When I saw the prototype for this set, I immediately identified my family members and what's more, they all agreed with their critter! LoL! Anyway...thank you for indulging me. Now let's get on to the card..

I chose to use Bernard, the lovable bear. Isn't he just the cutest with his hot beverage, scarf and watch?

I stamped Bernard onto a piece of  Strathmore Toned Tan paper and colored him with Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils. This guy is a delight to color. He's just so round and jolly. His little overalls can be paper pieced, too, like I did HERE. After coloring, I fussy cut him out and adhered him to my card base. I added a bit of Nuvo Crystal Glaze to his beverage and his watch. And I used the patterned papers, card stock and enamel dots from the January Club Echo Park kit, featuring the Winter Market Collection.

If you'd like to add Bernard to your collection, buzz on over to the Power Poppy shop. He's available in the clear set, Forest Fellas and also in digital format, Forest Fellas:Bernard Bear .

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful weekend!

Blessings ~
