Day Two~The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hello, Friends! Are you coloring? Are you sharing on social media with #thedailymarker30day? You know what I forgot to share yesterday? THIS! I am one of the Goodwill Ambassadors for Kathy's 10th coloring challenge! I can't believe I forgot to add this to my last post. Anywho...I'll be commenting on your art work on Instagram and Facebook. I can't wait to see what you're working on. I really enjoy looking at all of the different submissions. There are some pretty talented folks out there.  And don't forget to stop by Kathy's blog today, especially, because there is a HUGE blog hop going on with tons of prizes and giveaways! Click HERE.  Now...onto today's color share.

I've had this image for awhile and finally decided to color it up for my friend's birthday. Meet Celeste. She's a cutie from Art Impressions.

I stamped Celeste onto 80lb Neenah Solar White card stock, using My Favorite Things Black Licorice hybrid ink. I colored her with Copic markers. (GASP!) Yep! I dusted off my Copics and  gave them a run. It felt good to be able to finish an image quickly. Because as you may or may not know, colored pencils(which have been my coloring medium choice lately) take a bit of time to work with. But, this little gem worked up quickly and I did some paper piecing, too. I added Crystal Effects to the wine glass and I used a Gold Wink of Stella glitter brush on her jewelry.

Here's a peek at the inside of the card...The outside says; At our age we're going to need glasses and on the inside it says; ...lots and lots of them. LoL!

The drinks are from a really old set from Papertrey Ink called, A Day at the Beach.

That's it for me today. Thanks for stopping by! And don't forget to swing by Kathy's blog for the blog hop!

Blessings~

Congrats again on being an ambassador. Great choice, if you ask me! Yay for dusting off the Copics. I can say that now because I own a bunch of them myself. I'm just trying to figure out how to use them. LOL As for you card, love it! She's a funny gal and you've colored her wonderfully. I really like the paper piecing, too. The sentiment is hilarious. Great job on this card. Have fun checking out all the wonderful coloring talent! :) Hugs!
