Our Resurrection Dinner was wonderful. I wanted to prepare a meal that would be fitting for Spring. So I prepared my signature holiday turkey accompanied by new potatoes roasted in olive oil, rosemary and garlic, along with fresh steamed green beans with dill seed, steamed asparagus, a small salad and cresent rolls. Marcus made the fruit dish, lovely cantalope slices and scrumptious strawberries. For dessert, there was coconut cream pie and coffee. We had very little leftovers!
Anytime we host a gathering for a holiday, we like to show a movie. We thought the movie, 'Joshua' would be perfect. It is a heartwarming tale of a modern day Jesus and how his arrival affects the people in the town he visits. It's a great movie.

For table favors, I made Bible bookmarks. Our guests also received a little chocolate goodie and a scented candle.
I hope everyone had a memorable day and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Now I am going to get busy putting together a layout with all of the pictures we took!
