Celebrate Today Card

Here is a card I made using the May issue of SheetLoad, mentioned in yesterdays post. It is a Mother's Day card for my friend Starla. She loves purple, flowers and butterflies. Following the sketch was easy and I was able to create this card in no time. I used some punch outs from my stash for the focal image. I embossed the lavender cardstock with my Cuttlebug, although it is not showing up very well. If you click on the image you can see the detail. I put pop dots under some of the flowers to give more dimension and I added a sugared butterfly to finish it off.

Credits:Papers, cardstock and floral punch outs:Anna Griffin Collection.Cardbase:White Scored Notecards-Papertrey Ink. Stamps:Mixed Messages-Papertrey Ink. Celebrate Life-CTMH. Ink:CTMH-Petal. Ribbon:Lilac Mist Organdy-CTMH. Other:Prisma glitter, Cuttlebug w/Textile embossing folder.

I'm glad you stopped by today. Thanks for visiting!
