I have been making cards for my mom and MIL to have on hand for their occasions. Here is one I made for my mom to give her friend for her birthday next month. I tried my hand at paper piecing, once I got the jist of it, it was easy and I really liked it. I think the piecing lends itself well to this stamp set because the dresses look like fabric...hey! hmmmm....I'll have to try fabric next! LOL! Anyway, I pieced the dress and hat, colored in the hat brim with markers, outlined the flower lines and the balloon string with a glitter pen, colored in the shoe with the same glitter pen and finished off the balloon with a marker and some liquid glass. I think I'll make a few more, to keep in
my stash! Thanks for looking!

Hi Barb! I'm trying to catch up on my blog reading...
This is a terrific card. I love what you have done with the paper piecing. Gives me new perspective on stamp sets where I just wasn't sure I liked them. Oh and it beats coloring in for those who are coloring in challenged like me. Ü
Thanks for sharing!
Oh my! I can't believe it's been over a week since I last visited your blog! Guess I've been too busy, because I've sure been missing some great things here! ;)
I love this card, Barb! It's not a stamp set I thought I'd ever want, but after seeing this card of yours, I think I'm gonna have to rethink this now.... Darn! Great job with your paper-piecing too! It's one of my favorite things to do with cards. ;)
