Shop 'Til You Drop!

I am sure that all of you are finished with your Christmas shopping...right? I shop early and I shop online, so I don't have to deal with all the stuff going on at the Mall. That, I am sure, is a result of the years I worked in the Corporate world, with many different retail establishments. For those of you who work in that environment, you'll understand what I mean. This card shows the brighter, lighter, side of shopping...

I used all CTMH products-yay me!- they are retired, but I had them in my stash and thought I'd pull them out. There is no stamping on this card! Nope! Not one bit. This shows the versatility of our My Reflections Level One kits. They are ready made scrapbook pages, where you would just add photos, journaling and embellishments. The kit even comes with a sheet of coordinating card stock stickers. This packet I've used here is really old, but still very fitting for the holiday season.

Now for the details: The background card you see here, was a 12 x 12 ready made page that I simply cut to fit my card body. It already had the shoes, the dots, the stripes on it. The two shoppers are a die cut and I added some glitter to them using Spica At You pens. Then I adhered the die cut to the card with pop dots. The little sentiment? Yep. That came in the kit, too. I just sponged around the edges with Blush ink and matted it with Colonial White card stock-which also came in the same kit!-and glued that down. Next, I tied on some ribbon and for a bit more sparkle, I added a tiny piece of pink organdy ribbon. Easy. Easy. Easy. It took me maybe 5 or 6 minutes. So...if you are not familiar with the CTMH My Reflections Kits, contact me and I will give you more information. Thank you so much for visiting with me today!

Happy Shopping! Be careful out there!
