We're Doing Alright...

Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement and your emails.Things are getting back to 'normal' now. SweetP is in school and Vic goes back next week. We hope to be in the studio this weekend to start making Valentine cards. We decided to send out a lot of them this year, to let folks know how much we appreciate them.

The passing of our former Pastors son, reminded us how very fragile life can be. So, I decided, along with my family to partcipate in the big Project 365. I created another blog for this, you can view it HERE. And because we are such big Disney fans, I wanted to put all of our Disney memories in one spot, and I did that yesterday and you can view that blog HERE.

So, I've been busy behind the scenes. I'm learning to knit again, thanks to my friend Nona, who is sharing her knitting knowledge with me. And also thanks to Jeanne for sharing her wonderful knitting stories and projects that provide me with so much inspiration. I've done a bit of crocheting with Patricia and Vic and I sorted thru a lot of photos. We have a few more boxes to go thru today and then that task will be complete. We have a few more Christmas trees out that need to be put away. And I've got some boxes of new stamping goodies that I haven't touched yet, but I hope to get to this weekend. With the girls going back to school, I can spend a good part of my day in the studio again.

Okay, I guess that's all for now. I'll be back in the next few days with some projects to share. In the meantime, take care.

Blessings~

Hello Barb,
I am so glad to know that life is almost on track and that you are feeling better. Sometimes we all need a break to just be with our loved ones and reflect.
You have to let me know how your knitting is coming along. I have a pair of needles somewhere around here waiting for some attention. *smile*
I tried knitting some years ago and I really like it. My biggest problem was that I never finished anything I attempted to make!
I'm so glad to see that you are back and I hope you get a chance to create some cards this weekend.
Take care and God Bless....
hugs

Hi Barb,

Glad you are back! Missed ya!

I had hopes of participating in the 365 project too, but I forgot to take pictures for a few days and decided to try next year. I can't wait to see how yours turn out and get some inspiration for next year. I am hopping over to your new blog now.

BTW, watch in your mailbox!

Inky hugs,

Kim
