Some Sweet Treats

I am really lovin' this paper! Yesterday, I created these sweet delights and I wanted to share them with all of you. AND I still have a bit of the paper left over to play with today! I managed to create one of those sweet treat baskets, like the one in this post. It was easy and fun to make. I can see these on our Easter dinner table, with Prima flowers on it, filled with a little grass and some Jelly Belly's. Or for the 4th of July, with salt water taffy nestled inside. Or for Halloween with candy corn and then Thanksgiving with root beer barrels-my grandfathers favorite candy, or at Christmas with peppermints. Wait. Am I talking about Christmas, again?! On to the goodies! Enjoy!

I love the combination of pink and brown, so I just had to pair the two on this card. I like this so much, I don't want to give it away! LOL! This card is CASED from Niki Estes from Papertrey Ink. Love her style...so crisp and clean. I realize that the photo shows my brown as black, but it really is a rich dark brown that I purchased from Papertrey.

As I said in a previous post, once I saw this I knew I had to make some. I used cardstock to make the handle, but one could easily use ribbon or raffia, depending on the purpose of the basket. So cute! Oh! I found the directions for this little darling on Splitcoast. I used York peppermint patties for the 'centers' and there are 3 of them in the basket.

This card is using a pattern I got from Kristina Werner's card class on Two Peas.

Supplies-Cardstock:Pink Pirouette(SU!). Dark Chocolate and Vintage Cream(PTI). Paper:Bittersweet Mousse(BasicGrey). Stamps:HeartPrints(PTI). Hearts(retired-CTMH). Ink:Cranberry, Chocolate, Blush, Hollyhock(CTMH). Other:Square Nestabilities Dies(Spellbinders). Heart Punch(Marvy). Scor-Pal. Slot Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Circle Punch, Scallop Edge Punch(SU!). Paper Piercing Kit(SU!). Brads(Making Memories). Ribbon from my blog candy winnings.

Thanks for visiting today!

Blessings~
