Tea Time

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! I had a very busy weekend and I am really paying for it today! I'm looking forward to a restful day today. Some of you may remember me mentioning that I used to own a Tea Room. I would host High Tea in my home, by reservation only. I absolutely loved that time in my life. I don't know that I would have the stamina to do that now, but I do occassionally host tea parties for my close friends and family. So. When I saw the Tea for Two stamp set during sneak peek week at PTI, it was love at first sight. I had not inked it up until yesterday, after I was inspired by my friend Jeanne's post. You have to visit there to see the most amazing crocheted tea set that she made. Well, once I saw that, I really wanted to play with my stamps. I was only able to put together one quick, simple card, we had a full day yesterday, but I hope to be able to play again later on.

Supplies-cardstock:Spring Moss, Vintage Cream(PTI). Barely Banana(SU!). paper:Daisies(Time Coffey). stamp:Tea for Two(PTI). ink:Garden Green, Honey(CTMH). ribbon:Anna Griffin. other:scallop edge punch(SU!). Swiss Dots embossing folder, Cuttlebug(Provo Craft). Scor-Pal.

Thanks for visiting me today! Until next time...

Blessings~

Oh Barb! Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful card. I'm tickled that my little project inspired you to create this loveliness. *Ü*

I need to get a tea themed stamp set, I think. I don't own one!

Thank you SO much for the gorgeous Mother's Day card. I keep admiring it and I love how you cut the cardstock to keep it mailable. Your attention to all details amazes me.

BIG hugs to you, my friend!

Love what you did with this set! The yellow and green combo is really refreshing, too. I'm still debating whether or not to get this set...the pot looks so much like my Brown Betty pot that we enjoy using. Reminds me of when my girls were younger and we had tea parties every day (honestly, every single day!).

Have a great day!

Ah, there's that gorgeous paper again!! I, too, bought this set, but unlike you, mine's not seen ink yet. This is such a pretty card, and you did a beautiful job with that tea pot image. ;)
