It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

These are a few of the cards I made using some FREEBIES from SU! I am so loving the promotion they having going right now! I collect little cottages and when I saw this stamp set and the coordinating paper pad, well, I knew we were going to be good friends.

I stamped some of the images on scrap paper and cut them out so I could pop them up on dimensionals. This is really a fun stamp set. It's very tiny...little clouds, little roof tops, little houses, little trees. And the paper pad is just as sweet. I used card stock and sentiments from PTI. I also used a bit of CTMH. The border punch that I used is also a freebie with SU! right now. You get something free from the Sale-a-Bration catalog with every $50 you purchase. Gotta love that! All of the stamp sets I bought are the new cling/clear mount stamps. It took a moment, but now I'm used to them and I really like them a lot. The stamp set is called Good Neighbors, the 6 x 6 paper pad is called Welcome Neighbor and it comes with 72 sheets of double-sided paper. Disclaimer here: I am not a Stampin' Up demonstrator. I just enjoy using their products.

Victoria is due home today, she'll be here for 9 whole days!! I am so excited!! I have so much to do before she arrives. Hopefully my daycare kids will get picked up early and I'll have some extra time.

I am also giving the kitchen a fresh new look today. My Man burned up the microwave last night and because I was so disgusted by the whole ordeal, I went shopping for a new one and ended up buying a few other little kitchen goodies to give the room a face-lift. Now I feel like I need to paint first. Ugh! Well, I know I won't have time for that, but maybe in the upcoming days.

I thank you so much for popping in! Have a wonderful weekend!

Blessings~

Sorry about the microwave, but it sounds like you are handling it well. Can't wait to see the new kitchen.

Barb, your cards are adorable! We sing this Mr. Rogers song all the time. I had to laugh when I saw the title of your blog. Love it!

Oh Barb, your card is beautiful and the DP is gorgeous! Now that I see your samples, I regret not ordering this adorable DP. I hate it when I do stuff like this! * deep sigh*
