Glittered Buttons

Hello Friends! I played along with a new challenge this week. Well, it's new to me. Anywho, it's with my favorite stamping spot, Papertrey Ink. Each week, Papertrey Ink posts a Make It Monday project, that is hosted by one of the Design Team members. There are lots of pictures and a video. I always watch the video, but never participate. I decided it was time to change that. This week we learned how to make our own glittered buttons...who would have thought? Super fun, super easy and I will just say it now, there are LOTS of glittered buttons in my future! I love sparkle and I love buttons, putting them together had me doing the happy dance! Just look at this...

When I first saw the challenge, THIS stamp set came to mind. I stamped the green hills, then created my cloudy sky(how-to video coming soon), stamped the baskets and after my buttons dried, I adhered them with glue dots to the focal image piece. I wanted to go CAS, but after I finished the main piece, it looked a little un-finished, so I added the yellow polka dot border. I stamped my greeting, tied on a bow and called it done.

Thanks for dropping in today! I hope your Wednesday has been wonderful!

Blessings~

Wow, Barb, I the same video. Of course, I haven't glittered any buttons yet. You have totally inspired me. I'm gonna be like you and Nike and "just do it!"
