Hello Friends! Our Design Team Share Days have changed up a little bit. Instead of us creating for a particular theme, we are now to create from what INSPIRES US. This is going to be so much fun! I am inspired by so many things! My share today, is inspired by one of my Team Mates, Gina of Allie Cat Creations. She shared the cutest little 'sour cream' Valentine's Day treat holders with us last month. You can see those HERE. Sooo...I set off to make some of my own. I was trolling along thru Pinterest and I saw the cutest variation on the sour cream theme. And I ended up making these...
Aren't they CUTE?!! When I saw the carrots, I knew I wanted to use a little bunny to decorate them. So I headed over to the MelJen's Designs Shop to find the perfect digital stamp. I searched for 'bunny' and I found this cute little Fluffy Bunny. I re-sized the image and arranged several on a page, then printed them onto Neehah card stock and colored them with Copics. I punched them out and dusted on some blue and green distress ink, for sky and ground. The little carrots are super easy to make. They are made using the basic sour cream container technique. I used patterned paper to create the container and the carrot tops, but card stock would have worked just fine, too.
I colored the bow in a variety of Spring colors and I opted to keep the bunny white, which was a real time saver. I made a 'bunch' ha...no pun intended, of these in no time at all. They come together very quickly. I tied on a bit of rustic twine around the tops and added a simple Happy Spring tag to finish them off.
Now, I don't have little people in my life to give these too, but I think my Women's Group would get a kick out of having these as part of their goody bags at our next meeting. What do you think?
That's it for my share today. Be sure to check out the MelJen's Shop for lots more bunny and Spring themed digital stamps.
And I've included the video that I viewed, just in case you'd like to make a basket of carrots for your Spring gathering. Enjoy!

These are Uber CUTE! Your coloring is amazing.
Awesome project, Barb! Those bunnies are adorable and I love the carrot sour cream containers. I also love that your basket coordinates perfectly! The carrot tops are terrific as well. Finally, I think it's fabulous that you are part of a women's group. Is it a crafty group or a church group? I used to belong to a group called Women's Connection (when the girls were tiny), although it was a crafty group, it was nice getting together with other women! I'm sure your friends will love these.
Love Bunnies and these are just the cutest project I have seen. Thank you for sharing it. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your projects.
