Thursday Challenge @ MelJen's!

Hello Friends! It's time for another Thursday Challenge at MelJen's Designs. This week, in honor of Melissa's(MelJen's) birthday, we are issuing a challenge featuring her favorite color(mine, too!)

Our challenge this week is

"PRETTY IN PINK"
Create a project featuring a MelJen's Designs image and the color PINK.

I enjoy all of the challenges at MelJen's, but this one has my name ALLLL over it! I decided to make a card featuring Chocolate Diva.

Isn't she just the cutest? I printed her onto iridescent white card stock and colored her with Copics. I paper pieced her little outfit. That was a chore! But, I like the end result. The camera doesn't show that her lips are glossy, as are all of the hearts and the chocolates. I die cut the focal using oval Nesties. Then mounted it onto a piece of brown card stock that was die cut with the coordinating scallop die. And although it doesn't show very well, I added texture to the pink card stock with a Fiskars texture plate...LOVE those! I added a few finishing touches and called it done.

I hope you will join our Thursday Challenge. Remember, you must use a MelJen's Designs image in order to be included in the random drawing. Take a moment to stop by the Team Blog to look at what the other members created to share with you. You're sure to be inspired.

That's all I have for today. Thank you for visiting.

Blessings~

Fabulous card, Miss Barb! I admire your attention to detail, even in paper piecing the outfit. You are so patient! But it is so worth it when you see the final result. Love the colors and the sass.

I know that paper piecing was crazy, but it really paid off! This is too cute! Great color combo, and love the embossing and patterned paper too!
