HB2U

Hello Friends! I tried something new again. Earlier this year, I picked up a copy of  Papercrafts Card Creations for Him magazine. I was in need of a birthday card for a male friend, who is into robots and technology. While thumbing through the magazine something caught my eye. Now, I don't usually go for this type of thing, but, this guy is pretty  special, so I thought I would give it a go.

Don't laugh...here is the card I created...

I used the pattern that I downloaded from the Papercrafts website. I printed all the various pieces onto card stock and fussy cut them out. Then I simply adhered them according to the picture. I pulled out some old alpha stickers from my scrapbook supplies to create the greeting. Then I added some ginormus brads to balance things out a bit. It doesn't show well in the picture, but Mr. Robot there, has a few sparkles...I used silver card stock on some of this parts and I also added Glossy Accents to a few of his buttons.  I have to admit it was a lot of fun making this card. Would I do it again? No. But, it was fun that one time!

For the inside of the card, I printed the binary code for Happy Birthday onto white card stock and then cut it down to fit inside the card. Impressed that I know binary code? Ha! Don't be...I Googled it!

That's it for me today! I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Is it Autumn yet?

Blessings~
