Autumn Floral Birthday Card

Hello Friends! Happy Autumn! Finally! Now I'm just waiting for the weather to reflect the season. It's still quite warm in my neck of the woods... Well, as promised, I have a card to share today. It's perfect for an Autumn birthday.

Lots of stamping on this one. I used two Stampin' Up! sets, Blooming with Kindness and French Foliage-retired. I stamped the text and water spots first, then added the large bloom and sentiment. I sponged a little ink around the edges to warm things up a bit. I added a strip of patterned paper under the focal for interest. After I stamped, I gave the panel a nice spritz of shimmer spray and added a few pearls. I tied on a bow of organza ribbon to finish it off.

And that is it for me. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate the visit.

Blessings~

You made a lovely card with just a hint of Autumn, Barb. The neutral colored background with inked edges is a nice canvas for the large bloom. Your color combo is Autumn inspired. Love the ribbon and pearl :)

Beautiful card, Barb! Love the feel of Autumn in the colors. That flower is lovely! I also rally like the ribbon bow and little extra behind the bow. Hope it cools down for you soon!
