Hello Friends! I'm back to share my practice sheet from Lesson Two. We learned a few more blending tricks. Goodness! Who knew there were so many ways to use Copic markers? The idea here is to find the style of blending that works best for each of us.
We are actually on Lesson 9 right now in class. I am terribly behind! But, I'm learning so many new things and I have lifetime access to the class content so I'm not too worried.
We are encouraged to try colors we would never think to put together. I have to admit, the frustration level is very high. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to my Copics and I like to stick to the natural blending families. However...
THIS is what happened when I stepped out of my comfort zone. I really like the way this butterfly turned out. He may make an appearance on a card very soon...
Thanks for dropping in today!
Blessings~

Ohhhhh so pretty! Good for you for persisting even though the frustration level is higher. The outcome is certainly worth it, I'm sure. You are an amazing colorist (in my eyes) and I look forward to seeing how you grow from here on out.
