Power Poppy ~ Vintage Easter Egg

Hello Friends! Today is the 25th of February and there is a sweet new digi ready for download in the Power Poppy shop. This one is perfect for creating fun springtime cards. It's got a nice nostalgic feel to it and it reminds of the Easter cards I used to get when I was a little girl. It's appropriately named Vintage Easter Egg.

Take a look...

Isn't it adorable? And look at that picot edge ribbon! Marcy adds the most delicate details to her illustrations. I love the big, bold scripty greeting, It can be used on the inside or outside of the card. This image is fun and super easy to color up, which makes it perfect for mass producing quick and easy springtime greeting cards. The addition of the blank tag is brilliant and can be used to personalize the card or to make place cards for Easter dinner. Of course, the image can be printed and colored using your favorite medium or think about foiling it with sweet springtime colors. Hmmm...

Here is my card...

I just love this image! I told Marcella that I would be using this one for a looooong time. I printed off quite a few of these so watch out! LoL! I printed this onto smooth Bristol and watercolored it with Distress Marker. For the greeting inside the tag, I used a stamp from Papertrey Ink's Springtime Jar Fillers. I added Clear Wink of Stella and Crystal Effects to the ribbon and flowers. And a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins finished things off nicely. The focal panel is mounted with foam tape.

That is it for me today. Please take a moment to visit the Power Poppy blog to see what my teammates have created for you. These ladies are soooo talented, they blow me away with every release. Oh! Just an FYI...Be on the lookout for a new clear stamp release in March. I've seen some of the sketches and there are some real beauties coming your way.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend.

Blessings~
