Hello, Friends! Happy Halloween! I can't believe we are at the end of October already! Time is just flying by! Well, I have a card to share with you today. I used the Painting Pumpkins digi from Power Poppy. It's soooo cute! The set features three pumpkin vignettes and four sentiments. What's really cool about this set, besides being SO dang cute, is that there are options not only for Halloween, but Thanksgiving, too.
I chose to use the jack o'lantern image. I had it printed at my local copy center to have it printed with a toner printer, so I could foil it.
I included this picture of my work in progress so you could see how it looks before the foiling. Just a note here...I post a lot of "wips" and sneak peeks on Instagram. Sometimes, it's just not convenient for me to edit pictures and type up a blog post, so I snap a photo with my phone and do a quick post on Instagram. Okay. Back to the card...I colored the image with Prismacolor and Caran D'Ache colored pencils. After all of the coloring was completed, I used my laminator to foil it.
Not too bad, right? I do have some spots that didn't foil but, overall, I am pleased with it. I used a tiny greeting from Stampin' Up! for the 'happy halloween'. I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze onto the water cup and the tops of the paint jars. And then a few gold half pearls finished it off.

Oh golly, Barb! This looks fantastic! I saw your IG on the foiling. That was great. I've not gotten into foiling, but I sure like the look and this adds a magical touch to your jack-o-lanterns. Thank you SO much for sharing your talents! Your coloring is beautiful. I would love to participate in the Coloring Challenge, but am not sure I will be able to. Who knows, though, maybe things will ease up a bit for me and I'll surprise myself. Happy Halloween. Hope you have a good day. Hugs!
