Power Poppy ~ Enchanted Branches:Woodland

Hello, Friends! The party continues today with another new clear stamp and digi release from Power Poppy! Today, we are showcasing Enchanted Branches:Woodland. This set is magical! There is so much you can do with it. The idea here, is to use the branch as a place to hang the ornaments. Marcella has included hangers of varying lengths, along with an ornament cap. There are also patches of lichen that can be stamped onto the branch. I love that! And of course, the images can be stamped without the hangers, as well.

I'm sharing a work in progress and I used the digital version of the set.

I printed the image onto a piece of Papertrey Ink's Rustic Cream card stock. I've used this card stock for years. I love the little flecks of color and bits that are in the paper. It's smooth but it looks, well, as it's name suggests, rustic! For coloring, I used Caran D'Ache Luminance and Prismacolor colored pencils. I honestly don't know which direction this is going to take but I will share the final project when I'm finished. I wanted to use non-traditional Christmas colors and also something retro, like pink and turquoise. I don't know! We'll just have to wait and see where it goes! I used a Clear Star Gelly Roll pen on the hangers and ornament caps to add a bit of sparkle.

That's it for me today. Now it's time to buzz on over to the Power Poppy blog to see what the Bloom Brigade has created to share with you.

Thanks for stopping by! See you tomorrow!

Blessings~
