Graduation Announcement

I decided to make Vic's announcements with paper and scissors, instead of going digital. I love the ease of digital, but Vic wanted flowers and I was just not into the daisy on the cap. Then, when I was visiting one of my favorite blogs, I discovered this blog that had a tutorial showing how to make my criss cross cards fast and easy, using the no waste method. I made a big stack of these in 30 minutes. I typed up the info and printed it out, trimmed it up and I will slide a photo of Vic in the center of the belly band and they are ready to go! Just that easy.

I used a two tone ink for the cap stamp. I don't know if it shows well, but the cap has a little gold fleck on it, you know I love a bit of bling! Click on the image to enlarge it.

Credits-Papers/Cardstock:CTMH Silhouette Paper Pack. Stamp:CTMH(old)Hostess Set. Ink:Tsukineko Lightning Black Brilliance. Ribbon:Wrights By the Yard-Walmart. Other:Cuttlebug, Scallop Nestabilities.

Have a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by!

I LOVE criss-cross cards (and CTMH's Silhouette papers), and your idea to put them together was perfect! They turned out so pretty!! Nice that you made so many in such a short period of time -- always a plus. Hope things go together that quickly for my daughter's wedding invitations....

Hi,
Sorry think I'm having a blonde day. I absolutely love this card and would like to make some for a 50th wedding anniversary I have coming up.
Can you please tell me where the link is to the pattern.
Thanks!
