I used CTMH textured cardstock, which is really nice because it is also double-sided, one side is textured and the other side is a lighter version of the textured side. Makes coordinating colors a breeze. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey's 'Gypsy' pad and I used chalk inks, which I love because they look so 'touch-able' and velvety. I also used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and my Scor-Pal. Since the card has a flip front, it can be used as is or it can be adhered to a folded card base, which gives lots of writing room since the sentiment is inside the flip! Very clever idea, I think. I stamped the lady bugs trail and the sentiment in CTMH Garden Green and the flowers in VersaMagic Chalk Ink. After I posted this, I went back to the card and added a bit of bling, by outlining the flowers and the trail with my Copic glitter pens.
Credits-Card base:Stampers Select White, PTI. Cardstock:Sweet Leaf textured, CTMH. Paper:Gypsy, Basic Grey. Stamps:Little Lady and Everyday Blessings, PTI. Ink:Red Magic and Midnight Black, VersaMagic Dew Drop. Ribbon:JoAnn Craft Essentials. Other:Cuttlebug w/Swiss Dots embossing folder. Scor-Pal. Brads from my stash.
Thanks for stopping by today.
