Thank You Berry Much!

As a rule, I don't usually purchase a stamp set for just one or two stamps, but for this set, I broke my rule! I really like fruit images and when I saw these little strawberries, I knew I needed to add this stamp set to my collection. I worked on a big project all day and needed to make something quick and cute to relax my mind. So armed with some very cute paper and that adorable strawberry stamp, I created this card. Although it doesn't show well, the berries on the paper have a bit of glitter on them. And I went over the image stem with a Copic glitter pen to add a bit more bling. I also did the subtle shading of the strawberry and the stem, right on the stamp, using those nifty little chalk inks.

Oh Barb, you did a wonderful job on this card! It's very refreshing!

Egads, you make me want to order that set, RIGHT NOW, but I just can't...

Glad it cooled down a bit for ya!

What an adorable card! I love the pink and green combo and how you paired your berry with those papers. I'm sure you'll find a LOT of uses for that Green Thumb stamp set...and not just for the cute little strawberries (though those are the main reason I bought that set too -lol).

Looks like I miss a lot when I don't visit your blog daily. You've been busy since my last visit -- lucky you. ;) And glad you're staying cool in that ridiculous heat!
