Quilt Collection Cards

I have been reading The Quilter's Apprentice by Jennifer Chiaverini, which is a delighful tale about women and their love of quilting. I have never learned to quilt, but love the art of quilting. I have a dear friend who is learning to quilt and I thought I would make her a few of these cards for a Christmas gift. I think she'll like them. I gave her one today, as a teaser and she was very pleased. The pattern for this can be found on Nona's Classy Crafts video. I have, however, found other quilt patterns that I would love to use for making cards, but it will take time for me to adapt them. If anyone knows of other card tutorials that feature quilt patterns, please let me know. I want to make an assortment of cards for each season for her and I think it would be nice if the patterns were varied.
