It's Pumpkin Time!

These layouts are from last years visit to the Pumpkin Patch. I am looking forward to this years visit, whenever it cools off. We've had temps over 95 for the last few days and I want to be cold when I go to the Pumpkin Patch! Even our nightime temps have been in the low 80's NOT pumpkin picking weather in my mind. So, we'll wait and in the meantime, I'll share my last years layouts. Click on the photos for credits.

Well, here we are, My Man and me. The pumpkin patch, just like getting the Christmas Tree, is a family affair. I love that he is so involved in the girls' lives. It is something they will remember forever.

My two precious babies...they are really growing up fast. I am so blessed to be able to stay home with them and watch them grow up. They really are sweet girls, too. I couldn't have made better girls if I'd had a recipe! And to add to all that sweetness...they actually get along well with each other...the best of friends!

If you've read my blog for a while, then you'll know that my little Patricia is planning on becoming the next Food Network Star. No. Really. Anyway...she is sooo persnicketty about ingredients, even for something as simple as roasted pumpkin seeds. So, she took her time selecting the very best pumpkin, so that she could produce the very best roasted seeds.

Thanks for stopping by! Be Blessed!~

Hi Barb - your layouts are GREAT! What a beautiful famly too. We also have issues with taking forever to pick our pumpkins...

I'm continuously in awe of your digi skills. I have to make adoption profiles and think I will be using a digital kit. I'm excited to dive into this new aspect of scrapping. You may get some questions though! =)

Hugs,
Nona

LOVE the new look of the blog, my friend! Awesome!

And your layouts continue to inspire me...terrific work. Got a giggle over Patricia's looking for the perfect pumpkin. I sort of understand because I adore roasted pumpkin seeds. Ü

Thanks for sharing!

What great pumpkin patch LOs, Barb! I love your eye for detail and your scrappin' style.

How blessed you are to have raised such sweet girls...who get a long even!; and it makes total sense that only perfect pumpkins would produce perfect pumpkin seeds (you go, Patricia!). ;) Be patient, mom, as one day she may be showing off her kitchen skills on the tube, and getting paid for it! (And while you support her in her pursuit, she just might take over your kitchen duties, which includes doing dishes too, don't ya know! lol)

Hello Barb,
Your pumpkin layouts are beautiful!!
I wish our pumpkin patch was as elaborate as yours! Our pumpkin patch is basically a farm with a huge assortment of pumpkins. Its fun but all the side attractions are missing:)
Speaking of weather, the temps are in the high 70's around here! I think we better get a couple of pumpkins before its too cold to enjoy looking! I'm serious...I hate it when its too cold!!!
Have a great day Barb!
hugs
Risa:)
