Made of Snow

I finally got a chance to play with the stamp set I won from Papertrey Ink. Snowpeople are my favorite and this stamp set is the cutest thing! I really love the versatility of it. I decided to paper piece this first card, using the same paper as the background. I put a sparkle in his eyes with a glitter pen and a blush on his cheeks with chalk. His nose is colored with a yellow-orange Copic, I just couldn't see a real orange-y nose going on this guy, so I opted for something more subtle. I added a few snowflake rub-ons to the white cardstock to liven it up a bit and then gave him a light dusting of glitter.

Since Saturday is World Card Making Day, I plan on making a few more snowpeople cards. And I hope to get the girls involved as well. We are actually expecting RAIN! It is nippy out tonight, as I type this, my window is wide open and I am wrapped in a blanket, and the cool air is on my face. I love being cold! Weather like this puts me in a creative mood. Thing is...I am reading this book right now and I really want to finish it so I can move on to the next one... Oh well, we'll see how the weekend pans out.
