Book Club at My House
I hosted Book Club at my house last month. My reading suggestion for the group was The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. The group had a wonderful discussion and so much fun being together. I prepared a salad buffet for the ladies and My Man brought us a cake with a photo of the cover of the book on it. The ladies were so impressed that he would take the time to have that made for us. He's real sweet that way. And speaking of sweet...he took all of us girls out the following Saturday to see the new movie, The Secret Life of Bees. We really enjoyed the movie and I think that screen writers did a fantastic job of sticking to the story line. If you decide to see it, bring along plenty of tissues!

Awesome, Barb! This is a great idea for pics and a layout!
I love your layout Barb and the DP of this kit is awesome! I think it is super fun for friends to get together and discuss a book etc. Thanks for sharing these awesome pictures and that cake is so cool!
Very pretty LO, Barb (do you do any other kind? lol)! Your book club sounds like fun, your hubby sounds like he's a definite keeper, and your movie outing sounds like it was the icing on the cake (no pun intended). ;)
